This Saturday night will see several local Porsche racing teams striving to win the Queensland 500 enduro. Beginning at 3.00 pm, the 500 kilometre race provides a variety of testing race conditions for the drivers including night racing. Whilst touted as a ‘fun’ teams event, the competition will be fierce!
Competing for outright honours against the Porsche teams will be V8 Super Cars, Mitsubishi EVO’s and BMW M3’s to name a few. Being a team event, there are compulsory pit-stops and driver changes which add to the drama and excitement of this four hour race. Driver fitness will also play a part as the predicted 31 degree afternoon heat takes its toll on man and machine.
The Queensland Raceway lay-out provides 100 percent viewing for spectators so you don’t miss any of the action. Porsche Centre Gold Coast invites you to come and enjoy the sights and sounds of the GT3 Cup Cars, 911 turbos and even a LeMans 956 Racer.
